THE MAGIC FORMULA TO INSTANTLY BOOST

YOUR DIRECT SALES RESULTS

I remember it like it was yesterday. The email landed in my inbox from a desperate consultant, ?Help ? can you please give me some advice on how to increase my direct sales business??? She was desperate, she was on her last chance at staying ?active? within her Direct Sales company?s criteria for remaining a consultant.

First up ? well done to this young lady ? it?s by speaking up and asking for help that it actually comes your way!

A conversation followed with more inspiration, tips and guidance I can ever fit in this space, but it got me thinking to share with you the ultra-simplicity of your direct sales business. When you bring it back to basics, it?s ridiculously simple.

For those of you who didn?t care for maths at school, stay with me as I share a very simple ?formula? you?ll now know forever, and come back to time and time again because here comes 2 top ways to instantly boost your direct sales results!

Here?s what I like to call my MAGIC FORMULA:

The first component to instantly boost your Direct Sales results is to increase the number of conversations you have.

The second component to instantly boost your Direct Sales results is to improve your ability to convert the conversation to a YES please!

I know- it sounds ridiculously simple because it is!

Let?s say you have a conversation about what you sell to 100 people a month. Of those 100 people, you have the ability to convert 20% – that?s your conversion capability expressed as a percentage.

This means 100 people multiplied by 20% equals 20 customers per month.

So what happens if you increase your conversations ? get out in front of people more, communicate and speak with more people? ? and keep the same skillset of being able to convert.

It?s a simple formula; say 120 conversations (from a do-able extra 5 chats per week, across the month) multiplied by the same conversion capability of 20% means you suddenly have yourself 24 customers. Increased customers means increased sales, which means increased income for you.

Let?s keep the original 100 conversations per month and this time increase your conversion skills. You do this by modelling those who are great at converting ? noticing who on your team has a better closing rate than you, and model what they do. You can also increase your conversion capability by learning about customer behaviour and specifically 4 very important energy styles to know. So increasing your conversion capability to say 25% of all you chat with means you have increased your customers to 100 x 25% = 25! More customers = more income for you.

Okay ; so now work on both! Incrementally increase the number of conversation you have about your direct sales product every week, every month and, at the same time ? decide to improve your communication skills so you hear more YES and this is a double whammy.

120 customers multiplied by 25% conversion capability = 30 customers.

You can see how it can grow, can?t you? All by simply focussing on 2 ridiculously easy components to increase, in my Magic Formula!
